It was recently remodeled to become a serene, spacious space, easily circulated, with lots of light. Designed a few years ago, the East/West orientation was really thought out, as was the layout of the leisure and private areas and the visual connection to the outside. We feel good here, with the large windows, some instead of walls, letting the green garden or the blue of the pool invade the neutral and relaxing tones with which it was remodeled.
The current owners saw the full potential of this Quinta in the city, the space, the beautiful landscaping details and...they made it shine. In a simple and elegant way.
Upon entering the house we have lots of light and a spacious living room with a discreet but warming mezzanine over the dining table area. This area merges with the living room and the kitchen if its wide doors are open. All spaces are interconnected organically but at the same time highlighted by uneven levels. In the kitchen we have access to a pantry and a glass-enclosed room, overlooking the garden, which could function as an extra bedroom.
In the living room area, surrounded by huge windows, the stove heats the space. It is here, through the glass doors, that we go to the outside and the pool.
Still inside the house there is a wing with 3 bedrooms, one of them en suite. A bathroom assists the other 2 bedrooms. They all have wardrobes. And they all have doors to the garden, which makes them more relaxing and charming. In the bedroom wing, the hallway is entirely glazed, which gives us a feeling of space, lots of natural light and a very pleasant view of the front garden.
The garden surrounds the house. It has the most varied native plants, palm trees and large cypresses that are strategically planted on the edge of the garden that is flanked by the road. At the entrance, next to the gate, the floor is paved. In the area closest to the pool there is a barbecue area.
