It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the future construction of a luxury villa that will replace an existing house, in Quinta da Marinha, Cascais. The “Infinite House” is an architectural work that combines the concepts of the numbers 8 and 0, symbolizing continuity, balance and infinite potential. Seen from above, the house is shaped like an infinity symbol, made up of two interconnected oval structures with 3D-printed concrete facades. The house consists of a 2 story building with a basement level, positioned on the North-East side of the plot freeing up more space towards the South-West side where the pool is revealed and extended to the central water patio and firepit. Next to it there is a monumental stair that gives access to a terrace on the roof, where is possible to contemplate the ocean views. On the side inspired by the number 8, there is a fluid space that integrates every room of the house, representing abundance and continuous flow, with large windows that connect the interior to the exterior. The space inspired by the number 0 is focused on contemplation, with a meditation area and a water patio surrounded by every room of the house, symbolizing tranquility and potential. Rooms have a minimalist design and offer sunrise and sunset views, reflecting the continuous cycle of life. The number 0 is the eternal void, the silent field where all possibilities lie waiting to be awakened. 8, in turn, is the endless cycle, dance of balance and abundance, reflecting the infinity of the universe in its continuous form. Together, they symbolize the journey from potentiality to the tangible: 0, as the seed of creation, and 8, as the leafy tree that grows from that seed, creating harmony between the invisible and the visible. In their interaction, 0 and 8 capture the essence of existence, where nothing be comes everything, and silence takes form.
